Numbered instructions
1Whisk together milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt until sugar is fully dissolved, about 2 minutes.
2Microwave cream cheese for 10 seconds, then whisk into the milk mixture until completely smooth with no lumps.
3Pour into the Ninja Creami pint container up to the max fill line. Seal and freeze on a flat surface for 24 hours.
4Remove pint from freezer, let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes, then lock into the Ninja Creami machine.
5Select the Ice Cream function and run the full cycle (~2 minutes). If the result looks crumbly, press Re-spin for a creamier texture.
6Serve immediately from the pint, or add mix-ins using the Mix-In function.
Chef's Tips
Freeze the pint on a perfectly level surface — an uneven freeze makes the blade struggle.
Never skip the 24-hour freeze; partial freezing produces a slushy texture instead of ice cream.
If ice cream comes out crumbly after the first spin, press Re-spin — it will turn smooth and creamy.
Add mix-ins after the first spin by pressing a well into the center and using the Mix-In function.
Recipe Variations
Protein Vanilla: Replace sugar with 1–2 scoops of vanilla protein powder and use fairlife whole milk for ~25 g protein per serving.
Cookies & Cream: After the first spin, fold in 4 crushed Oreos using the Mix-In function.
Strawberry Sorbet: Use 2 cups of pureed strawberries with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice for a dairy-free pint.
